The Little Victories

Life is full of small victories. Sometimes these victories come from a small gesture, a kind word, or a memory provided at just the right time.

These are some of my small moments, little victories, and triumphant reminders.

Merry Christmas

A baby!  God saved the world, the whole world seen and unseen, generations past present and future, through a baby born in a manger.  So, tell me --- is there anything impossible for God?  "Remind yourself that with God all things are possible (Matt 19:26)!"  May the God who can do all things, do great things for us, through us, and great things with us.

Merry Christmas!

Love you--- Cassius

Especially today

We need Him when we feel lost and confused, alone and misunderstood, tired and ready to give up, hurt deeply and yet trying one more time.

We need Him as we are desperately clinging to hope and praying for miracles.  We need Him as we are facing the trial and staring at Goliaths.

We need Him and the good news is: He is with us!  He is faithful!  He is good!  He is the eternal and sovereign God.

May God, the stone in David's sling, the Shepherd of green pastures, the protector of weary, lost and needy sheep, and the source of life be with us when we need Him most --- especially today.

Love you--- Cassius

A Monday morning quiz

Here are three questions for a new and wonderful week!  See if you can get a perfect 3 for 3 in your soul.

Question 1:"If God is for us, who can ever be against us?"
Answer: No one!

Question 2: If God is for us, "who will condemn us?"
Answer: "No one—for Christ Jesus died for us!"

Question 3: "Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean He no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?"
Answer: "No, despite all these things [despite trials and challenges], overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us."

May we have an overwhelmingly victorious and triumphant week reminding ourselves that no one and nothing can keep His love from us or us from His love.

Happy Monday!

Love you---  Cassius
