Tried and true anchor

Dig your "roots deeper into God in order to withstand [all the] storms [of life]. Put the roots of your faith down deep into God so that you can withstand every storm [stand strong and thrive]." Anchor yourself, your hopes and dreams and plans, in the Strong Rock so that you may "experience more moments of awesome and less moments of awful." In Him we have the sure promise of life, victory and triumph. Love you

Bank on it!

God can be trusted!

So when God says He loves you; when God says He will never leave you; when God says you are wonderfully made; when God says you are His child; when God says no weapon formed against you shall prosper; when God says His plans are for your good; when God says He is with you always - you can take it to the bank!

Stand firm on His truth and Word. They are a sure and storm proof foundation on which to stand.

What will make the change happen?

What is the answer for the problems we face; the answer to pain, poverty, divorce, genocide, bigotry, racism, corruption, war, and our other world evils and ills?

The answer "that moves Heaven and changes a nation is not politics . . . Or education. Or a strong military. Or nuclear weapons. Or religion. Or a particular denomination. Or better organization. Or capitalism. Or socialism. Or radicalism. Or more jobs. Or more money." Or more effort.   The answer is The Ultimate Answer!  Jesus!  Embracing him fully and then giving "Him to someone else by sharing the Gospel. Heaven will be moved. Our nation and world will be changed. One person at a time. For the glory of His Name!"

How come...

Here is the promise that gives me help for today and hope for tomorrow: God will restore me in gentleness (wiping away every tear; taking away pain, death and sorrow) and I will be made whole again.  

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
