The Little Victories

Life is full of small victories. Sometimes these victories come from a small gesture, a kind word, or a memory provided at just the right time.

These are some of my small moments, little victories, and triumphant reminders.

Good morning Theophilus- Hebrews 11v33-34

In faith we overthrow corrupt kingdoms, rule with justice and mercy, and receive what God has promised. In faith we shut the mouths of our enemies, quench the flames of hate and gossip, and escape despair and tribulation and even death. In faith we become strong in the battle, mighty in the Lord, and well able because of His Spirit in us. May our faith in the goodness and promises of the Everlasting push us towards the sure, certain and glorious outcomes promised to those who trust in Him. Have a wondrous Wednesday!

Hey Theophilus

Keep your eyes open and focused on the the plans and purposes of God, the prize and crown of eternal life, and the promises of a future filled with hope in the presence of, and at the throne of, the precious Messiah. May God give us beauty instead of ashes, hope in place of despair, joy instead of sadness, light instead of darkness, strength and wisdom and power in place of fear, and Himself as LORD instead of any and every other thing. God be sovereign! God is sovereign! Amen, amen, and amen.

Bad news and good news for sheep

The Bad News: We are sheep; without a shepherd we are prone to get lost, "wander aimlessly through life, sick and broken, alone and hopeless, and desperate for a Shepherd who would love us, lead us, comfort us, and heal us. THE GOOD NEWS: Jesus is our Good Shepherd. He has "always been kind and merciful, has [always] shown His unfailing love and compassion, and He laid down His life so that we, His sheep, could have life abundantly. May the deep compassion of our Shepherd make this a terrific Tuesday! Love you---

Press forward!

"Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, [we] press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us (Phil. 3:13‭-‬14)." Press forward. The days may seem dark, the way may seem difficult, and the trials look daunting, but press forward because the sweat is worth the sparkle, the shine is worth the grind, and the prize in Christ is our promised reward. Press forward! Love you--- Cassius

Blessings today

May the Spirit of the Living God help us become the people He created us to be: people who are new, holy, renewed into His image, and clothed "with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness," passion, patience, and love.  May "the peace that comes from Christ rule in our hearts," fill our lives, and help us be grateful and thankful for a wonderful Wednesday and all the countless and lavish riches of Christ.  Love you---
