The gravy

I poured out my heart to God, and I have the assurance that God has heard me, is with me and knows my struggles. I am encouraged to keep trusting and hoping in God. And even now, I am praying and believing God for a beautiful break-through today. I have hope today and look forward to enjoying every moment of the rest of this week. I am focused on the Lord's peace and calm.

And the gravy, the best part, is that on top of all the goodness God has for me this week, I still have the future promises of eternity with Him.

Stop that... trust Him

Matthew 6:25-34 6:25

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 6:26 Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 6:27 And can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life? 6:28 And why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin, 6:29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like one of these. 6:30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you--you of little faith? 6:31 Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear?' 6:32 For it is the Gentiles who strive for all these things; and indeed your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 6:33 But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 6:34 "So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today's trouble is enough for today.

Stop all that worrying n and "what if'ing" and put all of your trust and hope in Him - your heavenly Father who loves you!

Oh snap... Tuesday is about to explode

Oh snap, I just got this feeling that today is about to jump off in the most amazing way. Get your shouting shoes on and happy dance ready, b/c God is about to bring the joy, bring the success, bring the victory, bring the fun, pour over us the favor and give us reasons to shout, "Glory! Hallelujah! Yes and amen!"

Bring it Lord Jesus... I'm ready for a terrific Tuesday! I hope you will have a great day!

My hiding place

God you surround me with comfort, strength and love. In your arms I rest and have peace. Deliver me from snares, danger, trials and troubles. Preserve my life and give me life according to your love and riches.

Grasping His love

Ephesians 3:16-19

16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
