A longer but good prayer offered by Nicky and Pippa Gumbel:
"Lord, how can I ever thank you enough for your mercy and forgiveness made possible through the death of Jesus for us? Thank you that however much we try to do so, we can never provide our own guilt offering for our sin. Thank you that we can never earn forgiveness but can only receive it as a gift by faith. Help me, like Bartimaeus (Mark 10:47-52), to follow Jesus and to give my life in service to him and others. Amen."
May our lives be full of gratitude for our salvation through Christ; a gift we so desperately needed, but could never afford on our own! Have a sensational Sunday.
